The Genetics of the Sweet Pea
Introduction
Sweet peas have relatively straightforward genetics, and for this reason were chosen for much of the early work at Cambridge University. Consequently, there is a series of early papers on the subject, many of which are available online. Besides being of interest to any sweet pea enthusiast, there is much of value to amateur breeders. Below is a list of references, the later ones being more technical and less accessible to the layman. Where available, the title of the article links to the complete text.
For those unfamiliar with genetic terminology, we have compiled a brief and very basic glossary.

The linked articles are all .pdf files, generally about 2 KB in size, and fairly slow to download. Late evening is probably the best time to access them from the UK as most of them are hosted on servers in India.
