Cultivation
Lathyrus chloranthus is an easily grown annual for a sunny position. Seed germinates erratically, but this can be overcome by soaking in warm water. Flowering from midsummer onwards. Seed is available from Owl's Acre Sweet Peas.
Hybrids
Lathyrus chloranthus can be crossed with L. chrysanthus to give a sterile hybrid.
